Mission Statement

JobPath's mission is to demonstrate the social and economic benefits that can be achieved through long-term training for those who otherwise would not have the opportunity. We provide qualified, skilled, and highly motivated workers for the broad-based Tucson and Pima County job market.

Eligibility

JobPath recruits adults who are highly motivated to complete a degree or certification in their chosen field. JobPath provides a wide range of support services to assist participants with finishing their education by helping them to balance work, family obligations, and their education. JobPath counselors mentor participants throughout and after their education and offer an array of support services including career counseling, case management, peer support facilitation and financial assistance on a case by case basis. Financial assistance is offered in emergency situations where a counselor deems there is a need to cover costs such as books, fees, transportation, etc. The majority of JobPath participants are attending Pima Community College (PCC) in an associate degree or certificate for direct employemnt program. Participants in the trades are enrolled in a state-recognized apprenticeship program.
