"Being in JobPath was like having a safety net. At first I thought it was
too good to be true, so looked for a catch. I never found one."

JobPath, employers, and participants work together to ensure that all participants will secure a career job after graduation. JobPath collaborates closely with employers to ensure that the education and training of participants matches industry workforce needs.
JobPath's goal is for participants to reach jobs that offer at least $10 per hour, benefits, and further career advancement. No participant enters a training or employment path unless it leads reliably to such a job.
JobPath assists with tuition, fees, and books for participants in training. Participants may also receive assistance with childcare, transportation, and emergency assistance. Counseling is provided so that the students can focus on their education.
Participants meet regularly throughout the program with their Career Counselor and with other participants in their occupational track in semi-monthly peer support sessions guided by JobPath staff. Counselors meet individually with participants on an ongoing basis as needed.
Counselors and participants work together to develop a training strategy that best suits their needs.
Participants enter JobPath through various avenues such as relationships with institutions, congregations and schools. Participants make commitments back to the community by tutoring students who follow them or by doing volunteer work.
Professional staff support participants for as long as three years as they proceed through their community college-level training and enter career employment.
