"With JobPath, my whole life changed. Now I can provide for my family and
hopefully put away money for my kid’s college."

JobPath was created in Tucson, Arizona in 1998 to meet an urgent community need identified by the Pima County Interfaith Council and business leaders. JobPath’s mission is to demonstrate the social and economic benefits that can be achieved through long-term training for those who otherwise would not have the opportunity. JobPath provides qualified, skilled and highly motivated workers for the broad-based Tucson and Pima County job market.
JobPath was modeled after Project Quest in San Antonio. Dr. Paul Osterman, an economist at M.I.T., conducted an independent evaluation of Project Quest for the Ford Foundation and concluded that “the rate of return to Project Quest is far above any threshold required to justify the program as a social investment and is much more favorable than that of the typical employment and training program.” Project QUEST participants increased their earnings by between $4,923 and $7,457 per year, which returns the cost per participant within two to three years.
